For the February 2nd General Primary Election Early Voting begins January 11th and ends January 28th. Locations and voting hours for the Election Commission are listed below.
A new bill has been signed into law that allows residents to vote in person prior to Election Day. Under the bill, early voting will begin 22 days prior to the election and end the Thursday before the election. Early voters are required to provide identification. However, it is not necessary for early voters to provide an excuse to vote early.
For the February 2nd General Primary Election from Wednesday January 6th and ends Tuesday January 26th.
Beginning with the Febuary 2006 Primary, a resident may register or change his/her address between the 27th and 7th day prior to an election. However, he/she may do so only at the Board of Election Commissioners Office. If a resident who registers or changes his/her address during the grace period wishes to vote at the first election after the grace period, he/she must do so at the time of registration or change of address by grace period voting.
As a result of the Help America Vote Act being signed into law, new voting equipment will be available at all polling places. The new equipment will allow disabled voters to vote privately without the assistance of another individual.
