Welcome! The City of Peoria is glad you have stopped by to learn more about the 2010 budget and to provide your input. The budgeting process is one of creating an action plan. A good budget is reflective of Peoria’s priorities: strong public safety, excellent infrastructure, great neighborhoods and exceptional quality of life. While the final budget is adopted by the Mayor and City Council,that vote is representative of you.

Below, you will find a series of files (each opens as a .pdf) that will give you an overview of the major sections of the budget. The City Council will have their first discussion of the 2010 City Budget at their regular June 9 meeting. Each meeting will have time dedicated to public comment (limited to 5 minutes for each speaker.)
